This is probably one of the most time consuming projects I have ever done. It was for my comp graphics class which we had to take a picture of a room from our house and redo the image completely in Illustrator. The top one is the Vector and the bottom is the original picture.
Most of the image is done with gradients but meshes were used on the small objects on the counters. I had to cut out alot of details for the final due to time constraints, but when I get a chance I'm going to add in more things, like the fan. After doing this though i can't really say that I was sane and working on it zoomed in for hours on end every day drove me nuts XD Let me know if any one would like close up slots of anything.
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
